Located at exit 48, Ward Hill/Bradford off Route 495 (N or S) in Haverhill. Bear right off the exit. Stay in the right lane. Go through 2 sets of lights, at the 3rd light bear right onto Osgood St. (Rt. 125 south) toward No. Andover. Proceed approx. 1 mile. 1600 Osgood St. is on the right (formerly Lucent Tech.). GOAL/QPC Ground Hog Shadow Day

Greater Salem Chamber of Commerce Members Participate in Groundhog Job Shadow Day.

On February 3rd and 18th, several Greater Salem Chamber of Commerece members joined other local businesses and saw their shadows in the form of 200 middle school students from the Pelham and Windham school districts in commemoration of Groundhog Job Shadow Day.

Job shadowing enables students to shadow a workplace mentor as he or she goes through a day on the job, providing an up-close look at how the skills learned in school are put into action in the workplace. For employers, Job Shadowing offers both an introduction to the workforce of tomorrow and the opportunity to help students explore career options and share what it takes to achieve their goals.

Chamber members who hosted students were GOAL/QPC, RE/MAX Action Realty, Citizens Bank, Delahunty Nursery & Florist, and Prudential Verani Realty. If you would like to participate next year, please contact the secretary of the Chamber’s Bus/ED Collaborative at lpaulauskas@pelhamsd.org.
