Topic: Compensation Across the Generation

Human Resource professionals are facing increasing challenges from organization management and employees regarding the appropriateness of the compensation program.  The day of the "one size fits all" compensation system is long gone.  The challenge is to develop systems that respond to the needs of the different generations.  This presentation will review how this new challenge has altered compensation and total reward designs and will include a case history of one organization's response to a growing and challenging problem.

Additional Short Presentation - Healthcare Legislation

Aaron will talk about the recent Massachusetts healthcare legislation aimed at increasing health coverage for all residents of Massachusetts.  The legislation will impact all employers with more than 10 employees in Massachusetts.  Aaron will be covering employer responsibilities including the "fair share contribution" and the "free rider surcharge".  In Aaron's capacity as the Massachusetts Legislative Representative to the staffing industry he has obtained much information on the specifics of the law as well as insight into the Commonwealth's plans gained through meetings with legislators.
