Topic:
Building a Performance Culture. (Without Breaking the Glass)

Many companies are finding the path to growth and profitability more difficult in the 21st century.  This is primarily the result of the effects of worldwide competition, a relative decline in “time-to-market” advantages due to the availability of technology, and the fact that many companies are using process management tools to become more efficient and effective in delivering products and services. The best companies understand that the strategic advantage is found in their people, and as a result, they are developing performance cultures that enable them to utilize people as their most important competitive advantage.

This presentation will provide a practical model that HR professionals can utilize to ensure that their companies have the capabilities to build and improve their own performance culture as a competitive advantage. More specifically, it will outline a systematic approach to building a performance culture, with practical action steps and ideas that the participants can take away and use. Additionally, best-in-class examples will give the participants insights into what has worked successfully at other companies.
