Topic:PowerPoint…Tips and Tricks for Effective Presentations

All of us have sat though those deadly PowerPoint presentations where too much is on the slide, the type is too small, and there are too many bells and whistles to receive the message.  Come to this workshop and see how PowerPoint is really supposed to work.  You will be introduced to basic development principles, a step-by-step methodology, general visual aid tips and examples of good and bad PowerPoint slides.  Come learn how to do it the right way and truly get your message across to your audience.

Information about our speaker:

Andrea Bard

Andrea Bard has been in the teaching and training field for over 20 years.  As an independent communication consultant and communications instructor she has developed and presented training programs and workshops on a variety of topics including organizational communication, professional presentations, meeting planning, interviewing skills, and job search techniques. Clients have included New England Association of Admissions Counselors, Arthur Sager Inc., Babson College-School of Executive Education, and Brandeis University. She is currently teaching at Southern New Hampshire University and The Harvard Extension School.  Andrea holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Speech Communication from Northern Michigan University, and a Master of Science Degree in Business and Organizational Communication from Emerson College.
