TO DEVELOP AND/OR ENHANCE YOUR SAFETY PROGRAM

You have heard the old adage, “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure”.  But it is not always easy to implement.  Our discussion this morning will cover:

  • The Components of an Effective Safety Program
  • Tools of the Trade – Available Resources
  • Safety Committees & Risk Management Committees
  • Fun Safety Incentives
  • Overcoming Management Objections

Having created, as well as having enhanced several safety programs for different organizations and industries, including Jordan’s Furniture, Quebecor World and Boch Enterprises, Lauren understands and recognizes the challenges HR professionals face in implementing, publicizing and developing employee and management safety awareness.  Safety is a topic many employees are not interested in hearing about or believe they know about already.  She will share her experiences and knowledge to provide HR professionals with insight and tips that they can in turn bring back to their businesses
